About product

Rocrete SP Superplastyfikator is a surfactant that is a sodium salt of a polycondensate of naphthalene acids with formaldehyde. The main application of Rocrete SP is the creation of wax dispersions with the desired physicochemical properties (viscosity, stability over time, size of dispersed particles). However, it can also be used in other types of colloidal systems or stable aqueous suspensions.

Rocrete SP Superplastyfikator is available in packages:

Product made to order, delivery time 80 working days from the date of order confirmation. Minimum order quantity 12 tons.

Rocrete SP is offered as a beige powder with a very low water content and low bulk density. This translates into savings in the costs of transport and storage of the product. Rocrete SP production technology allows to obtain a product containing trace amounts of free formaldehyde and free naphthalene. Thanks to this, it does not have an environmental classification and does not affect the content of free aromatic hydrocarbons in the products for which it is used.
Rocrete SP is a dispersant composed of a hydrophobic organic chain and a hydrophilic inorganic sulfone group. Thanks to its structure, it can adsorb on particles of solids, creating a layer of identical electric charges on them (sulfone groups). Their mutual repulsion causes the disintegration of agglomerates of these particles. This makes it possible to create systems of mostly colloidal and non-coagulating suspensions of solids in a continuous liquid phase (water). Rocrete SP creates a time-stable dispersion, preventing re-aggregation of particles. The stability of the dispersion is also expressed by the dynamic viscosity of the system which is constant over time. Due to the complexity of the process of creating dispersions, as well as the variety of their characteristic parameters, it is recommended to test the product in laboratory conditions

Rocrete SP is a very good dispersant in aqueous systems. Its great advantage is the powder form, which reduces transport costs even over long distances.

Properties and applications
• allows to obtain time-stable dispersions with the desired physicochemical properties;
• allows to obtain a very low concentration of dispersed particle coagulates;
• characterized by a low concentration of free formaldehyde and naphthalene;
• very low moisture content and low bulk density allow to reduce transport and storage costs;
• intended mainly as a dispersing agent for the production of wax dispersions;
