Rokopol® FS3640 is a polyether polyol in the form of a white, opaque liquid. The product contains antioxidants (excluding BHT) and is characterized by high purity and low emissions. The product has a hydroxyl number in the range of 25.0-30.0 mgKOH/g and dynamic viscosity in the range of 4000-6000 mPas at 25°C.

Description Properties

Rokopol® FS3640 can be used for the production of flexible polyurethane foams using a continuous system (slabstock) or for periodic production (batch). Using polyol and properly selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents) it is possible to produce blocks of flexible foam with a rectangular cross-section and a height of up to 120 cm. Thanks to its excellent parameters, the product can be widely used in the furniture industry.

The main application advantages of Rokopol® FS3640:

the possibility of producing foams with densities from 20 to 80 kg/m3 with hardness ranges from 5 - 12kPa and elasticity of approx. 30%,
the use of the product allows the production of foam with a breaking strength above 40 kPa and a relative elongation at break above 40%,
can be used with reactive polymeric polyols for e.g. increasing or decreasing foam hardness.

The most common applications of Rokopol® FS3640:

used for the production of flexible foams with increased hardness,
used in the furniture industry for the production of mattresses, pillows,
used for the production of upholstered furniture where increased foam hardness is required,
product used in the automotive industry for the production of cockpits, headliners, steering wheels, body panels, bumpers, seats, headrests and armrests,
used as a raw material for the production of sound insulation.

Products manufactured on the basis of Rokopol® FS3640 are of very high quality. Thanks to the refined production process, this polyol is characterized by very good parameters and a wide range of possible applications.
