In cosmetic formulations, POLIkol 300 acts as a solubilizer and humectant, binding water. It can be effectively used to modify the rheology of active substances.

Thanks to its anti-electrostatic properties, it is used in industrial cleaning and metalworking. Hygroscopic properties are used in the agrochemical industry, especially in the production of fertilizers. The product is also a raw material for the production of esters in the chemical industry.

POLIkol 300 is used to harden concrete and cement mortars, and by reducing water losses in mixtures, it allows for better bonding of the material. When properly dosed, it increases the mechanical strength of hardened concrete. It can be used in the design of self-hardening concretes.

In addition, POLIkol 300 has a positive opinion of the FDA (Food and Drug Agency), which allows the use of polyethylene glycol in the form of an indirect food additive based on the CFR 21 lists: 175.105, 175.210, 176.180, 176.200.
