ROKAnol DB7 - C12-15 Pareth-7 surfactant belongs to the group of non-ionic surfactants based on ethoxylated fatty alcohols with C12-C15 carbon distribution. It is a highly concentrated product, containing approximately 100% of the active substance. Its INCI name is C12-15 Pareth-7. The product belongs to the ROKAnol DB series whose characteristic feature is high surface activity. Thanks to it, ROKAnol DB7 is a surfactant that is perfect as a raw material for the production of detergents and cleaning agents. It is also successfully used as a raw material or an additive to many different formulations in other industries.

The commercial product at 40°C has a light color (max. 70 on the Hazen scale). At room temperature, it takes the form of a paste or a turbid liquid with a tendency to delamination. The pour point of ROKAnol DB7 oscillates around 20°C. The hydroxyl number of the product ranges from 100-114 mgKOH/g. The hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) of the product is 12, which proves its good solubility in water. ROKAnol DB7 is a product compatible with other non-ionic surfactants. It also interacts very well with anionic and cationic surfactants and many excipients.

ROKAnol DB7 is a surfactant with very good foaming properties and excellent wetting, degreasing, washing and cleaning properties. It also has emulsifying and dispersing properties. The use of the product as an ingredient in cleaning preparations makes them show high stability, often without the use of hydrotropes. ROKAnol DB7 is stable in the presence of hard water, as well as in reducing and oxidizing environments. It is a surfactant active in acidic and neutral environments as well as in diluted alkalis.

A wide range of application functions makes it possible to use ROKAnol DB7 as a universal raw material for the production of many different detergents. The product is perfect as an ingredient of washing liquids and capsules, glass cleaners, dishwashing liquids, floor cleaners, as well as bleaches, vehicle washing and care preparations and agents for the care of leather upholstered furniture. ROKAnolu DB7 is also a component of professional cleaning agents dedicated to institutional and industrial use. These include, among others, agents for industrial washing, agents for cleaning hard surfaces in industrial plants and large-scale facilities, preparations for washing and degreasing metal surfaces, as well as CIP (Cleaning in Place) preparations

ROKAnolu DB7 is also a surfactant used in the cosmetics industry. This is due to the washing and emulsifying functions of the product. Thanks to them, the product is used as a component of many different cosmetic formulations from the personal care group, which include, among others, cosmetics for washing and hair care. As an emulsifier, the product has also been used in the production of bituminous masses (alphalts) and various types of adhesives and coatings.

ROKAnol DB7 is a biodegradable product that meets the biodegradability criteria set out in Regulation (EC) No. 648/2004 on detergents.
