ROKAnol GA3 CAS 160875-66-1 anionic surfactant is a non-ionic surfactant that belongs to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols. The product co-creates a group of surfactants based on C10 Guerbet alcohol. It occurs in the form of a liquid with a tendency to delamination, with a color on the Hazen scale of max. 50 determined at 40°C.

ROKAnol GA3 is characterized by low solubility in water and forms cloudy solutions in it. However, it dissolves in organic solvents such as methanol or acetone. The product contains over 99% of the active substance and solidifies at about 0°C. The cloud point of the product is determined for a 16.7% ROKAnol GA3 solution in a 25% BDG solution and it is relatively low, as it is 30÷33°C. The product has a low HLB value compared to other ROKAnols of the GA series. It is possible to have it in composition with mixtures with non-ionic, anionic and cationic surfactants.

ROKAnol GA3 CAS 160875-66-1 anionic surfactant does not have foaming properties. However, it is characterized by very good detergent, emulsifying and dispersing properties. ROKAnol GA3 is perfect as a co-surfactant in all types of cleaning formulations, especially in products intended for industrial and institutional applications. In combination with ROKAnol GA6 and ROKAnol GA8, it shows synergy in the cleaning effect. As examples of such use, we can distinguish agents for degreasing sheet metal and metal elements, floor cleaning products and professional products for gastronomy. ROKAnol GA3 in cleaning formulations is usually used in the presence of a hydrotrope or solvent (e.g. BDG), which improves its stability.

ROKAnol GA3 has excellent degreasing properties. It can be used as an agent for degreasing metal surfaces. After passing dynamic tests imitating the action of a degreasing bath, it turned out to be the most effective of the entire ROKAnoli GA series. In addition, it is used to emulsify hydrocarbons such as mineral turpentine or kerosene in solvent-based cleaners. In industry, it is used to clean engines, machine parts, tankers, etc.

ROKAnol GA3 is biodegradable in the natural environment and meets the criteria of the Detergents Directive.
