Rokopol DE4020 for the production of printing inks

Rokopol® DE4020 is a product characterized by a low content of water and sodium and potassium ions, which has a positive effect on the stability of prepolymers produced with its participation. The product is not acidified, which extends its application possibilities. It maintains a dynamic viscosity in the range of 700-900 mPas at 25°C with high functionality (f~2) and a hydroxyl number in the range of 27-31 mgKOH/g.

The high molecular weight (450 g/mol) provides great freedom in the design of solid polyurethane systems with different hardnesses, from flexible (Shora A) to hard (Shora D). The product is widely used in the construction industry, where it is used as an element of binders, sealants, PUR and OCF foams, as well as printing inks.
