Rokopol MS5215

Rokopol® MS5215 can be used for the production of highly flexible polyurethane foams using the continuous type system (slabstock), for periodic production (batch) and for the production of molded foams. With the use of Rokopol® MS5215 and properly selected additives (catalysts, silicones, foaming agents), it is possible to produce blocks of highly elastic foam with a rectangular cross-section and a height of up to 100 cm. Thanks to its high parameters, the product can be widely used in the furniture industry, acoustic insulation and the automotive industry.

Main application advantages of Rokopol® MS5215:

• the possibility of producing foams with densities from 25 to 80 kg/m3 with a hardness range of 2-5kPa and flexibility up to 55%,
• the use of the product allows the production of foam with a breaking strength above 50 kPa and a relative elongation at break of up to 60%,
• the product can be used together with other polymeric polyols to optimize its properties, e.g. increasing the hardness of the foam, reducing the trapezoidal effect of the blocks, increasing the height of the block and the openness of the foam.

The most common applications of Rokopol® MS5215:

• production of High Resilience (HR) foams with very good parameters,
• in the furniture industry used for the production of mattresses and pillows as a comfortable material,
• a product used in the automotive industry for the production of seats and headrests as a comfortable material,
• product used for the production of sound insulation elements.
