Rokopol® D450 is a diol, propoxylated propylene glycol for general use. It is used in the production of adhesives, rigid foams and other polyurethane materials in reaction with isocyanate. The product is in the form of a homogeneous clear liquid containing antioxidants (without BHT).

Description Properties

Rokopol® D450 is a product characterized by a low content of water and sodium and potassium ions, which has a positive effect on the stability of prepolymers produced with its participation. It maintains a dynamic viscosity in the range of 60-80 mPas at 25°C with high functionality f~2 and a hydroxyl number in the range of 230-270 mgKOH/g. The product is not acidified, which extends its application possibilities. The high molecular weight (450 g/mol) provides great freedom in the design of solid polyurethane systems with different hardnesses, from flexible (Shora A) to hard (Shora D). The product is widely used in the construction industry as an element of binders, sealants, as well as PUR and OCF foams.
