Rokopol® RF2000 is a polyether polyol, polyoxyalkylenated polyhydric alcohol. The product is in the form of a homogeneous, clear liquid. The product contains antioxidants (excluding BHT) and is characterized by high purity and low emissions. The product has a hydroxyl number in the range of 160-170 mg KOH/g, and its dynamic viscosity is in the range of 500-700 mPas at 25°C.

Description Properties

Rokopol® RF2000 can be used to increase hardness and stabilize the foaming process of standard polyurethane foams. With the use of Rokopol® RF2000 (max. 10% of the formulation) and properly selected additives (catalysts, foaming silicones), it is possible to produce blocks of standard foam with a rectangular cross-section and a height of up to 120 cm. Thanks to its high parameters, the product can be widely used in the furniture and automotive industries.

Main application advantages of Rokopol® RF2000:

the possibility of producing foams with densities from 20 to 80 kg/m3 with hardness ranges from 4 - 12kPa and elasticity of approx. 30%,
the use of the product allows the production of foam with a breaking strength above 50kPa and a relative elongation at break above 50%,
the product is used as an additive to increase the hardness of the foam.

The most common applications of Rokopol® RF2000:

production of flexible foams with increased hardness,
in the furniture industry used for the production of mattresses and pillows with increased hardness,
product used for the production of car seats, headrests and armrests in the automotive industry,
used as an additive to increase foam hardness.
