Description Properties

Emulsifier Polysorbate 80 - 9005-65-6 - ROKwinol 80 is a non-ionic surfactant based on natural raw material.

It is an ethoxylated derivative of sorbitan monooleate, INCI name Polysorbate 80. The product is in the form of a liquid or a semi-liquid yellow to brown paste. Solidifies in the temperature range of 24-28°C. It dissolves well in water, lower aliphatic alcohols and benzene. It is an unclassified substance according to the CLP/GHS Regulation. It is biodegradable in the natural environment.

Due to the specific chemical structure , ROKwinol 80 has high emulsifying abilities. Creates stable O/W emulsions. These features contribute to the fact that it is a product willingly chosen by formulators in both industrial and cosmetic industries.

It is used as an emulsifier for pesticide formulations, mainly for EC, SL, EW, ME, WP, WG formulations.

ROKwinol 80 acts as an emulsifier in emulsion explosives. In the textile industry, it is used as a fiber softener, eliminates static electricity, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the dyeing process.

Emulsifier Polysorbate 80 - 9005-65-6 - ROKwinol 80 is used in cosmetics. It acts as a mild detergent in washing preparations, wetting agent, solubilizer and stabilizer of essential oils. It is used in the production of creams, lotions, face tonics, shampoos and washing gels, washing oils, anti-hair loss agents, bubble bath balls. Used in the production of air fresheners, alcohol-free deodorants and other cosmetic products. Its emulsifying properties work well in cutting fluids containing conventional base oils and in flame retardant hydraulic fluids and drilling fluids.
