Rodys RP is the powder form of Rodys R, a sodium salt of polycondensate of naphthalene acids with formaldehyde (NSF). This environmentally friendly product is designed for reactions in the aquatic environment and is primarily used in the emulsion polymerization process of styrene and butadiene, leading to the production of styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR). Rodys RP allows for stable latex dispersions during polymerization, prevents coagulation of latex particles, and does not affect the physicochemical or mechanical properties of the rubber. With low moisture content and low bulk density, Rodys RP is cost-effective for transportation and storage.
