About product

Rokopol D2002 is a diol, propoxylated propylene glycol for general use, used in the production of adhesives and other polyurethane materials in reaction with isocyanate. It maintains a low viscosity of about 320mPas at 25C at f~2, it can be used similarly to Rokopol D1002 as an additive reducing viscosity and ensuring good flow of elastomer systems and rigid foam.

Delivery time up to 14 working days.

Rokopol D2002 and other diols offered by PCC Rokita , i.e. Rokopol D1002, are characterized by a low content of sodium, potassium and water ions, positively affecting the stability of prepolymers produced with their participation. The above-mentioned products are not acidified, which extends their application possibilities. A wide range of molecular weights from 450g/mol to 2000g/mol provides great freedom in the design of solid polyurethane systems with different hardnesses, from flexible (Shora A) to hard (Shora D). The applied antioxidant causes that the above-mentioned polyetherols can be considered for the production of food contact materials.

Main application advantages of Rokopol® D2002:

  • can be used in a wide range of applications,
  • limited content of water and sodium and potassium ions,
  • high stability of prepolymers produced with Rokopol® D2002,
  • the possibility of using polyol as a viscosity-lowering additive,
  • polyol ensures good flow of elastomeric systems and rigid foam.

The most common applications of Rokopol® D2002:

  • used as a prepolymer for adhesives and modified MDI,
  • elastomers and two-component sealants of varying hardness and high hydrolytic resistance,
  • PUR rigid foam,
  • OCF foams,
  • product used as an additive in the production of printing inks and packaging approved for contact with food.

Products manufactured on the basis of Rokopol® D2002 are characterized by excellent quality. Thanks to the refined production process, this polyol is characterized by very good parameters not only in PUR systems.
