  • a product from the group of co-surfactants,
  • made on the basis of vegetable oils,
  • excellent formulation density modifier,
  • a wide spectrum of functions and applications in industry,
  • high dispersibility in water,
  • is in liquid form,
  • works very well at low temperatures,
  • biodegradable product.

ROKAmid KAD/2A (INCI: Cocamide DEA) is a surfactant based on vegetable oils. It is in the form of a clear liquid with a light yellow or yellow color. The product belongs to the group of co-surfactants and is characterized by a number of functions and applications desired by the industry. It is a very good thickening agent (rheology modifier) that improves the consistency of the formulation. In the ROKAmid KAD Group, the product has the best thickening properties.

The liquid form of ROKAmid KAD/2A facilitates the creation of various types of recipes without the need for heating. This is very advantageous due to the need to use other active substances in the mixtures, which may be sensitive to higher temperatures.

ROKAmid KAD/2A is a foam stabilizing surfactant and improves its quality, especially in mixtures with anionic surfactants. The product perfectly fulfills its functions even with a small content in the formulation.

It is also a substance with very good washing properties. Therefore, it is perfect as a component of cosmetic preparations for washing the skin and hair. Effectively removes impurities and at the same time nourishes, rebuilding the lipid barrier of the skin.

ROKAmid KAD/2A, due to its very good detergency and emulsifying properties, can be an excellent component of industrial cleaning agents. It is a surfactant compatible with non-ionic surfactants, dedicated to degreasing, e.g. in the oil industry.

ROKAmid KAD/2A is also a very good co-emulsifier supporting other emulsifiers in the process of emulsion formation. Due to the effective interaction with anionic surfactants, the product works well as a component of concrete admixtures. In these types of applications, the product improves the quality of aeration.

The form of the product and its dispersibility in water make ROKAmid KAD/2A a good lubricant in the production of various types of plastic parts and elements based on polyethylene and polypropylene. The product's antistatic properties are another advantage that predisposes it to be used in the production of plastics.

ROKAmid KAD/2A in combination with metal salts creates an antistatic additive to polystyrene and impact-resistant polystyrene mixtures. The product is also used in water-soluble, semi-synthetic and synthetic coolants for metalworking and polishing agents.

Product advantages:

  • very good rheology modifier,
  • foam stabilizer and co-emulsifier,
  • effective in small concentrations,
  • has washing, re-greasing, emulsifying and antistatic properties,
  • easy to operate in technological processes.
