Roflam F3 is a halogen-free flame retardant based on phosphoric esters. It provides high flame retardancy to plastics without compromising mechanical properties. It forms a char layer that slows down the spread of fire. Roflam F3 has a reduced viscosity, making it ideal for use in formulations with powder additives. It can be used in epoxy or polyester resin-based composites and laminates, as well as in intumescent coatings for steel structures. Suitable for C.A.S.E applications and fire retardant paints in construction.
