About product

Superplastyfikator BGP is the equivalent of Superplasticizer BG40 FF in the form of powder, i.e. the sodium salt of formaldehyde polycondensates of naphthalenesulfonic acids (NSF). It contains a low concentration of chlorides, so it is perfect as a base for fluidizing and plasticizing admixtures used in the construction industry (additive to cement, concrete) and as a fluidizer in the production of plasterboards.

Product made to order, delivery time 80 working days from the date of order confirmation. Minimum order quantity 12 tons.

The Superplastyfikator BGP is a light brown solid with a very low water content (maximum 10%) and sulfates (maximum 1.5%) and low bulk density, which reduces transport and storage costs. It belongs to the group of surfactants and is composed of a hydrophobic organic chain and a hydrophilic inorganic sulfone group, thanks to which it is characterized by very good dispersing properties. The addition of the BGP superplasticizer makes it possible to reduce the water/cement ratio (and thus reduce the consumption of mixing water) by up to 25% without compromising the consistency of the mix. Thanks to this, the porosity of hardened concrete is reduced, which in turn translates directly into a significant increase in concrete strength (up to 30% compared to the mixture without the addition of superplasticizer). The tightness of concrete is improved, i.e. its resistance to aggressive substances, frost and abrasion resistance. Early strengths also increase, so demolding of the concrete element is accelerated.
If the w/c ratio remains unchanged, and at the same time we reduce the amount of mixing water used, we can reduce the amount of cement used, which, in addition to economic benefits, leads to a reduction in the heat of hydration and reduction of shrinkage during the setting of concrete. The BGP Superplastyfikator does not contribute to the corrosion of steel reinforcements in concrete structures due to the very low concentration of chlorides in the product, which is its undoubted advantage. It does not introduce large amounts of air into the concrete mix, which may potentially lead to deterioration of frost resistance. In addition, it allows you to make a concrete mix at an air temperature of up to -5°C without inhibiting cement hydration.
In the production of drywall, it is important to reduce production costs while maintaining the fluidity of the gypsum mix. The addition of BGP Superplasticizer enables the reduction of the amount of water used in the process, which shortens the drying time of the finished board. At the same time, the product does not affect setting times and adhesion between plaster and paper. It favors the formation of gypsum crystals in the form of needles, thanks to which the structure of the board is more durable.
The powder form of the product does not deteriorate its application properties, and it is important in reducing the cost of transporting the product over long distances and reduces the cost of storage. The use of even small amounts of BGP Superplasticizer allows the production of cheap and environmentally friendly concrete, which at the same time is characterized by very good strength and rheological properties. It is mainly recommended for the production of ready-mixed concrete, prefabricated elements, cement mortars, but also for the production of gypsum elements, e.g. drywall.

Properties and applications

• allows to reduce the amount of mixing water (even by 25%) without compromising the consistency of the concrete mix;
• allows for less cement consumption, which reduces costs (while maintaining a constant water/cement ratio);
• increases the compressive strength of concrete (up to 30%);
• extends the setting time of concrete, maintaining consistency;
• reduces the amount of water used in the production of plasterboards;
• not sensitive to overdosing, easy and convenient use;
• can be used at temperatures down to -5°C without inhibiting cement hydration;
• does not corrode reinforcing steel (low content of chlorides);
• practically does not introduce air into the concrete mix;
• the powder form of the product allows you to reduce transport and storage costs;
