Description Properties Safety precautions

The raw material used for the production of ROKAnol L7 is a derivative of palm kernel oil from certified oil palm crops. This product is RSPO certified in the Mass Balance variant.

ROKAnol L7 - Laureth-7 - 68439-50-9 is a non-ionic surfactant belonging to the group of ethoxylated fatty alcohols with the INCI name: Laureth-7. The product co-creates a group of surfactants based on lauryl alcohol with a carbon distribution of C12-C14. It takes the form of a clear or slightly turbid liquid with a color of max. Hazen 70 at 50°C.

ROKAnol L7 MB is characterized by good solubility in water. The value of the HLB parameter for this product is about 13. The product contains over 99% of the active substance and solidifies at a temperature of about 10°C.

ROKAnol L7 MB has very good detergent, wetting, dispersing and emulsifying properties. It is used as a basic surfactant in liquid and powder detergents, dishwashing liquids, household and technical cleaning agents and hand cleaners. It is used, among others, in the environment of oxidizing and reducing agents and hard water. It is active in cold water, in acidic, neutral and dilute alkali baths. ROKAnol L7 MB can also be used in a mixture with other non-ionic auxiliary agents and in mixtures with anionic and cationic surfactants. It has a washing and cleaning effect in a mixture with alkyl sulphates and alkylaryl sulphonates.

ROKAnol L7 MB is also widely used in cosmetic preparations, e.g. for washing and care of the skin and hair, in color cosmetics, sunscreen, shaving and aftershave cosmetics. In addition, the product is used in fiber pre-treatment processes as a component of a formulation that removes oil stains (mineral oils) from fabrics/knitwear, which are the result of industrial knitting and weaving processes. Due to its wetting properties on cotton fabric, it can be used as a component of bleaching compositions for raw knitted fabrics and cotton fabrics. It is also used during the final stage of the textile dyeing process as one of the components that removes excess dyes from the bath. ROKAnol L7 MB works well in preparations for removing street film and other formulations for car chemistry.
