Rokopol RF152V

Rokopol RF152V
About product

Rokopol® RF152V is a propoxylated Mannich base, a reactive, high-functional aromatic polyether polyol for the production of rigid and semi-rigid polyurethane (PUR) foam in reaction with isocyanate. The product is an orange to brown liquid that does not contain antioxidants. It maintains a high viscosity of about 7,000 mPas at 25°C with high functionality f~4.5 and a high hydroxyl number ~430mgKOH/g.

Delivery time up to 14 working days.

Rokopol® RF152V is a product dedicated to the production of PUR polyurethane systems with medium and low viscosity, high flame retardant content, and very good mechanical properties of rigid foam. The product is recommended in particular as a polyether additive for the production of PUR sandwich panels using the continuous method. Mannich polyols show very good miscibility with typical polyols for rigid foam application, i.e. sorbitol, sugar, and most polyester polyols. This provides a lot of freedom in designing new polyurethane rigid foam systems. The product is widely used mainly in the construction industry.
Main application advantages of Rokopol® RF152V:
  • the possibility of reducing catalysis, especially important when using new physical foaming agents that have a negative effect on catalytic systems;
  • improved mechanical properties of the rigid foam core;
  • aromatic chemical structure, ensuring improved flammability properties of rigid foam;
  • homogeneous and fine cellular structure of rigid PUR foam;
  • very good miscibility with hydrophobic n-pentane despite its unique hydrophilic nature;
The most common applications of PUR Rokopol® RF152V:
  • insulation of wires, cables, pipelines;
  • spray thermal and acoustic insulation;
  • sandwich panels, insulation boards;
  • flood and spray foams;
  • continuous production systems for sandwich panels;
  • spray foam (SPF) production systems;
Products manufactured on the basis of Rokopol® RF152V are characterized by excellent quality. Thanks to the refined production process, this polyol is characterized by very good parameters not only in PUR systems.
Properties and applications:
  • a product dedicated to the production of PUR systems;
  • very high quality of the final product due to the physicochemical properties of the polyol;
  • used in closed-cell foams used for insulation;
  • used in SPF spray foam systems, pouring foams and rigid foams;
  • recommended as a component for the production of sandwich panels and insulation boards;
  • having very good mechanical parameters;
  • improved flammability properties due to the aromatic chemical structure;
  • homogeneous and fine cellular structure of rigid PUR foam;
