Pharmaceutical grade anhydrous sodium sulfate (Ph. Eur.) - inorganic sodium salt occurring, among others, in the anhydrous form of Na 2 SO 4 . This salt has high hygroscopic properties. Thus, anhydrous sodium sulfate is used as a water-absorbing agent. The product is also approved as an active ingredient (API) in pharmaceutical applications. The sodium content is 16.2 g in 100 g Na 2 SO 4 . The product meets the requirements of the European Pharmacopoeia and food regulations.
