Process stabilizer Rostabil TNF is a specialist additive for plastics that provides thermal protection of polymers during processing processes. It prevents degradation of epoxy and polyester resins during thermal cross-linking, eliminating the effect of yellowing of the material. Used in the production of "mixed metals" compounds for polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and in the production of powder paints. The cost of non-returnable packaging is included in the price.

Process stabilizer (thermal stabilizer) is an additive to plastics that affects the processing process and at the same time affects the functional properties of the material. Plastics can decompose during processing and thermal stabilizers are used to prevent further degradation at the processing level. In relation to polymeric materials, the term degradation (aging) is used to describe changes in physical properties caused by chemical reactions. As a result of these reactions, the polymer chain is cleaved, which reduces the molar mass of the macromolecular compound. These processes have a destructive effect on the processing of plastics itself and the functional properties of finished products (color, gloss, shade). In order to prevent the destructive effects of oxygen, temperature or ozone, stabilizers or their mixtures are used, which have a mutual synergistic effect. Rostabil TNF stabilizer can be used as a co-stabilizer with primary stabilizers (zinc, barium, calcium stearates) during PVC processing. In synergy, such a package of additives provides effective protection against plastic degradation during processing. It is also recommended for thermal processing of synthetic rubbers, in particular SBR, where it is used together with phenolic stabilizers. It is successfully used in the production of powder paints in thermal processing processes. Thanks to the use of the product, the aging processes of the material are limited, and thus its mechanical and visual properties are preserved. The product belongs to the group of phosphite stabilizers. Thermal stabilizer Rostabil TNF is a secondary additive to primary type stabilizers, showing excellent synergistic properties with them.
