About product

Calcium chloride - agent for chemical snow removal, de-icing of roads, pavements and stairs in the winter. Commonly called ecological road salt due to the low ecological pressure in relation to table salt used as road salt. Prevents dust from accumulating on unpaved roads, sports fields, tennis courts and dirt tracks. In addition, it is used as a drying agent for gases and liquids in chemical syntheses.

Calcium chloride dihydrate, white odorless solid in the form of flakes. Recommended especially as road salt . It is a great alternative to table salt - sodium chloride - especially since it works effectively at temperatures even below thirty degrees Celsius - theoretically up to minus 55. Due to the high heat emission when absorbing water, it not only binds moisture from melting snow and ice, but also actively dissolves it . It does not damage flower beds and permanent green plantings adjacent to roads. Introduced into the soil, it raises its pH, which in our acidic soils improves its structure. Used as road salt, it does not erode the surface, does not affect the natural environment, does not corrode vehicles, does not damage footwear, metals, rubber, sheet metal, and is harmless to humans and animals.

Calcium chloride in the form of a 30% water solution is great as an anti-dust agent on gravel and dirt roads. The amount and composition of the mixture should be selected experimentally, depending on the prevailing conditions and the type of substrate.

Calcium chloride is used in agriculture as a leaf fertilizer for fruit cultivation . Especially recommended in the form of a 6-8% water solution for spraying fruit trees. This ensures a yield of 500 liters of spray liquid per hectare. Fruits provided with calcium do not crack during ripening, they are firmer and more durable during storage. More about fertilization in fruit cultivation can be found here.

Calcium chloride is also used in the form of an aqueous solution - 0.7% for young plants and 1% for adolescent and adult plants - in combating tipburn in brassicas . Thanks to preventive spraying at the efficiency of 500-1000 l of spray liquid per hectare, the problem of dying young leaves and unsightly brown tips and leaf edges can be completely eliminated. Advanced tipburn can lead to the death and decay of affected tissues. Find out more about how to combat tipburn in brassicas here.

Calcium chloride as a water solution is used to load construction and agricultural machinery . Its solutions are resistant to freezing and, unlike other agents, it does not cause erosion and degradation of rubber and rubber derivatives of materials from which tires are made.
