About product

Rokopol® RF170 is a reactive, low-functional aliphatic amine polyether polyol. Thanks to its very good properties, the polyol is an example of a product used for general use in the production of rigid and semi-rigid polyurethane (PUR) foam in reaction with isocyanate. The product is in the form of an amber liquid.

Delivery time up to 14 working days.

This polyol retains a very low viscosity of about 400 mPas with a functionality of f=3. Due to its high hydroxyl number (approx. 500 mgKOH/g), high reactivity in reaction with isocyanate and low viscosity, it is used in a mixture with typical polyols for rigid application with medium and short gel time. Thanks to its compatibility with other products, the product can be used as a viscosity depressant.
Rokopol® RF170 is dedicated to the production of PUR polyurethane systems. These systems are characterized by low start-up times and good adhesion to a variety of surfaces. An additional advantage of PUR systems is the high flame retardant content and good mechanical properties. Rokopol® RF170 exhibits good miscibility with typical polyols for the application of rigid foam. Thanks to its properties, it is dedicated in particular to spray applications.
Main application benefits of Rokopol® RF170:
  • high content of flame retardant,
  • very good adhesion to various surfaces,
  • compatibility with typical polyols for rigid foam application,
  • low start times.
The main PUR applications in which Rokopol® RF170 is used include:
  • rigid foam for thermal insulation in the form of polyurethane sprays,
  • PUR closed-cell foam for general purpose thermal insulation, continuous and periodic systems,
  • molded rigid foam,
  • two-component adhesives with high adhesion to various surfaces (e.g. metal, ceramics).

Properties and applications:
  • the product is characterized by a high content of flame retardant and low start times;
  • thanks to very good adhesion to various surfaces, it is easy to apply and widely used;
  • compatible with other polyols used for rigid foam application, which allows for many different applications;
  • most often used as a component of rigid foam for thermal insulation in the form of polyurethane sprays, as well as closed-cell PUR foam for general purpose thermal insulation;
  • it is often found as a component of two-component adhesives with high adhesion to various surfaces (e.g. metal, ceramics);
