Pharmaceutical grade magnesium chloride hexahydrate (Ph. Eur.) 3150 kg - inorganic magnesium salt in the hydrated form MgCl 2 * 6 H 2 O. It is very hygroscopic. These properties are exploited in many applications of magnesium chloride. Magnesium salt is very easily absorbed by the body, which is why it has been used in dietary supplements and medicines. The product is approved as an active ingredient (API) in pharmaceutical applications. The magnesium content is 11.8 g in 100 g MgCl 2 * 6H 2 O.
