Iron coagulant PIX 116 canister 20 l - aqueous solution of iron (III) chloride is used in the process of purifying municipal and industrial wastewater (chemical, automotive, food industries). It is also used to precipitate phosphorus from wastewater, remove hydrogen sulphide and treat process water in industry. Net weight of the product approx. 27 kg.

Description Properties Safety precautions

PIX 116 coagulant – has high quality in accordance with the European standard EN 888:2005 type 2. Product storage period: 12 months. PIX 116 is used to treat municipal and industrial sewage, precipitate phosphorus from sewage, prevents the formation of struvite. It is also used to remove gaseous hydrogen sulphide, which is responsible for the unpleasant smell. Another function that PIX 116 fulfills in sewage treatment is the conditioning of sludge. This process consists in changing the structure of the sludge and the state of the surface of dispersed solid phase particles, causing an increase in the size of the particles and a decrease in the forces binding them to water. The use of PIX 116 coagulant in sewage treatment is one of the chemical methods of sludge conditioning, which shows the highest effectiveness.

Dosing should be carried out using diaphragm pumps, resistant to corrosion and chloride ions. The product should be used without dilution.
