Synthetic hydrochloric acid is an inorganic chemical compound, which is a water solution of gaseous hydrogen chloride. It has highly corrosive properties, a sharp, irritating odor and a colorless to light yellow color. The product is supplied to the market in the form of a liquid with a concentration of 33% to 36%. It is characterized by very good quality. Hydrochloric acid is a dangerous substance, precautions should be taken. Offer only for companies.

According to the product documentation, hydrochloric acid should be stored/transported at a temperature of -30 °C to 30 °C, as desorption of hydrogen chloride occurs at higher temperatures. Due to high temperatures, please contact us individually to determine the possibility of transport.

Description Properties Safety precautions

Hydrochloric acid is an aqueous solution of hydrogen chloride, a gas with a sharp, suffocating smell, highly soluble in water. Highly concentrated, left in contact with oxygen, it forms dense, white, smoking fumes. The maximum acid concentration that can be achieved is 37%. When concentrated, it is a strong poison, causing immediate irritation of the mucous membranes. It has caustic properties, perfectly destroys sugar, fabrics or wood, causes burns.

Synthetic hydrochloric acid is used in the textile, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, in the production of plastics and dyes, as well as in confectionery. In the metallurgical industry, it is used to clean metal surfaces and extract ores. Hydrochloric acid is also characterized by a bactericidal effect.
